The Guide to Compliance - Edition 3, is published by GIR, with Fallon Alexis contributing to Lessons to be learned from UK enforcement activity.

The Guide to Compliance aims to tackle the compliance side of the enforcement equation in a systematic way. It combines a review of the rules in place around the world with practical advice for corporations and their counsel.

Fallon Alexis co-authored the chapter titled Lessons to be learned from UK enforcement activity with Alison Pople KC of Cloth Fair Chambers. “This chapter sets out the main areas of general enforcement activity in the United Kingdom, drawing on the lessons that can be derived from previous activity and statements of policy from the various UK enforcement agencies. This body of information provides a corporate with significant insight into how to approach compliance issues in respect of economic misconduct risk, including bribery, fraud, money laundering and facilitation of tax evasion, either from a proactive approach to ensure good compliance measures in these areas, or to inform a strategic approach when a compliance issue arises, in particular where it may engage UK enforcement agencies.” [Source: https://globalinvestigationsreview.com/guide/the-guide-compliance/third-edition/article/lessons-be-learned-uk-enforcement-activity]
