Mr Mendy has been on trial at Chester Court since August last year. Eleanor Laws KC and Orla Daly (instructed by Jenny Wiltshire & Peter Csemiczky of Hickman & Rose Solicitors) represented the Manchester City footballer who was unanimously acquitted of eight counts relating to six complainants. 

Jury failed to reach verdict on two charges. Mr Mendy will face a retrial on those counts.
