Ari Alibhai and David Groome acted in what was the first prosecution of its type in Northern Ireland, a conspiracy to defraud the film industry through the operation of the pirate film streaming website fastpasstv.com. It was submitted on behalf of the prosecution that defendant Paul  Mahoney, the owner and operator of the site had caused losses to the film industry running to many millions of pounds and had generated illicit income of several hundreds of thousands of pounds.
