Mark Ellison QC, QEB Hollis Whiteman head of chambers, represented David Sellu, consultant surgeon specialising in colorectal medicine, in his successful appeal against his manslaughter conviction.

The prosecution has announced that there will be no re-trial. Mark Ellison and junior counsel David Emanuel of Garden Court Chambers were instructed by solicitors Birnberg Peirce.
