Nicholas Griffin KC of QEB Hollis Whiteman is announced as Counsel to the Lampard Inquiry.
The Lampard Inquiry is Chaired by Baroness Kate Lampard CBE and is investigating matters surrounding the deaths of mental health inpatients across NHS Trusts in Essex over a period of in excess of twenty years.
The Inquiry will hear evidence from families of those who died and from former patients as well as others with experience of mental health inpatient care in Essex, staff, former-staff, relevant professionals, and organisations.
The Inquiry is independent of government and the health care system.
