Linda Strudwick prosecuted Joshua Clements, who at the time of the offence was aged 17 and attended a music event in Hyde Park in July 2016 carrying a hunting knife. Having robbed a number of young people of their possessions, in the space of 10 minutes for no obvious reason he stabbed one man in the stomach causing life threatening injuries, and chased a second young disabled man into the traffic at Hyde Park Corner. Mobile telephone footage shows the man being brought to the ground where Clements repeatedly stabs at his body as the victim tries to avoid the blows. Sentencing takes place at the Central Criminal Court on the 1st of September 2017.
