Jocelyn Ledward represented Ross Etherson, a former medical recruitment consultant who pleaded guilty to 21 counts of fraud at Isleworth Crown Court.
He was encouraged and trained by Midas Medical Recruitment to alter the CVs of doctors in order to secure locum posts in the NHS.
In his sentencing remarks, HHJ Johnson that Etherson was at the lowest end of responsibility for this criminal conduct, and was critical of the fact that Mr. Etherson’s former employers, Midas Medical Recruitment, had not been pursued for their part in the fraud by investigators.
