The Independent Inquiry into Child Sexual Abuse investigation into “Children Outside the UK” started on 11 February and is considering civil orders under the Sexual Offences Act 2003 (such as Sexual Risk Orders), the extra-territoriality provisions under section 72 of the same Act, along with the Disclosure and Barring Regime.
