The Inquiry published its report yesterday (3 July).
It was set up to establish what went wrong in Jersey's care system over many years and to find answers for people who suffered abuse as children.
Nicholas Griffin QC gave evidence to the inquiry as an independent expert witness. He reviewed a number of prosecution files where decisions had been taken by the authorities not to prosecute cases of alleged physical and sexual abuse going back over a number of decades.
In summary, he concluded that the decisions were appropriately and properly taken. His conclusions were endorsed by the Inquiry Panel in their report - http://www.jerseycareinquiry.org/Final%20Report/Ch%2011.pdf.
