Nicholas Griffin QC, Fallon Alexis and Tom Coke-Smyth helped to organise the annual Cumberland Lodge training session for Bar students at the Inner Temple, which took place last weekend. The topic this year was Public Inquiries.
Speakers and participants in the training weekend included many eminent senior practitioners in Public Inquiries – barristers and solicitors – as well as senior judges. Many are involved in some of the most prominent inquiries currently taking place, such as the inquiries into the Grenfell Tower fire, child sexual abuse and undercover policing. Many topical issues in the world of Public Inquiries were covered. It proved to be a hugely interesting and effective weekend for all concerned.
