Philip Evans QC has been nominated for the Sydney Elland Goldsmith Award for a Lifetime Achievement in Pro Bono,  

The  nomination is part of the Bar Pro Bono Awards 2020, sponsored by LexisNexis.

Since 1997 the Bar Pro Bono Awards have been given every year in recognition of outstanding commitment to pro bono work by barristers or chambers. 

Philip regularly undertakes work on behalf of the Bar Pro Bono Unit and advises Cardiff University Pro-Bono Department.  He has been involved with the Innocence Project for a number of years.
