Three members of QEB Hollis Whiteman were directly involved in what was called the most high-profile trial of insider dealing prosecuted by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) to date.
The trial, R v H & Others, which followed an eight-year investigation Operation Tabernula, was being prosecuted by Mark Ellison QC with fellow member of chambers Tom Broomfield in the role of disclosure junior.
William Boyce QC was instructed by solicitors Corker Binning in the defence of one the five defendants and other members of chambers have provided advice to other parties during the investigation and trial.
