On Thursday 28 June the Gambling Commission published their first ever enforcement report, a review of the Commission’s regulatory and criminal enforcement work over the past financial year. The report focuses on key areas of regulatory concern, including anti-money laundering, self-exclusion, and marketing and advertising. It is key reading for industry lawyers and compliance officers at gambling operators.
QEB Hollis Whiteman member, Tom Orpin-Massey, who spent seven months on secondment with the Gambling Commission, assisted with the drafting of the document, which can be found here.
