The orthodontist whose unorthodox methods around shaping the jawline gained popularity on social media was struck off after a boy ‘suffered seizure-like episodes’ during treatment.
Following a lengthy and complex hearing, Dr Mew was struck off the GDC register for providing children with unproven and harmful treatments as well as providing inappropriate and misleading advice to the public.
