Thomas Coke-Smyth acts for former Major General James Roddis, during his court martial proceedings.

 

Thomas Coke-Smyth, led by Jane Bickerstaff KC of 9BR chambers, was instructed by Paul Morris and Jessica Maguire from Richardson Lissack to represent former Major General James Roddis during Court Martial proceedings which concluded with his sentence on 5 September 2024.

Following representations from the defence, the Service Prosecuting Authority agreed to withdraw a charge of sexual assault and to accept a plea to a service offence under s.23 of the Armed Forces Act 2006.
