Kathryn Hughes was instructed on behalf of the Care Quality Commission (CQC) to successfully close a care home in an emergency situation.
Kathryn was instructed on behalf of the Care Quality Commission (CQC) to make an emergency application to shut down a care home. A CQC inspection had revealed squalid living conditions which raised serious concerns about the safety of these vulnerable individuals. Working with the local council, all individuals had been found alternative care facilities and the court shut down the care home with immediate effect.
