Rhys Meggy secured the acquittal of X, a HNWI and prominent developer of properties in Mayfair, Marylebone and Knightsbridge.
X was accused of conspiracy to launder the proceeds of crime in connection with his business with Ultra HNWIs based in Qatar, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and Dubai.
He was unanimously acquitted by the jury following a two-week trial in which Rhys established the legitimacy of his business and the business practices of his counterparts in the Middle East.
