This case concerns a shooting that took place on Acton Lane during a street party following the Notting Hill Carnival in August 2022. The intended victim was shot in the leg whilst amongst the crowd but survived.
Four defendants are alleged to have travelled to the location before dropping off one of their group nearby. This defendant is said to have walked into the crowd in the early hours of the morning, before firing a gun at their intended target. Three shots were fired but only one stuck the victim after ricocheting off the ground
