Nadesh represented the first of three defendants, all charged with kidnap and false imprisonment. The prosecution's case was that the Defendants had forced the complainant into a car and taken him to various addresses around London, where he was held against his will, assaulted with weapons and a ransom demanded from his associates.
As a result of legal submissions made by Nadesh, the Judge refused the prosecution's application to admit hearsay evidence, with the result that the prosecution offered no evidence against all Defendants.
Nadesh was instructed by Oliver Mather of Lloyds PR solicitors.
