Polly Dyer client pleaded guilty to fraud by false representation and possession of an article for use in fraud. The monetary amount concerned was £475,000 and it was a sophisticated fraud. A basis of plea was submitted which, after lengthy negotiations and the provision of evidence, was not contested by the Crown. Ms A received a suspended sentence.
