Philip Stott represented the family of Corporal Steven Boote, Royal Military Police.
Inquest into the events surrounding the unlawful killing of L/Cpl Boote and four other British soldiers by a rogue Afghan Nation Police Officer at the 'Blue 25' check point, Helmand, Afghanistan on 3rd November 2009. The inquest was held by HM Coroner for Wiltshire and Swindon at Trowbridge from 17th - 20th May 2011. Philip Stott acted pro bono for Corporal Boote's next of kin, having been approached by the Royal British Legion's Independent Inquest Advice Service.
