David Spens QC prosecuted Davey Everson for the murder of his partner Kirsty Burdett’s three month old daughter Millie-Rose.
He was sentenced to life imprisonment with a minimum term of 18 years. Kirsty Burdett was convicted of allowing Millie-Rose’s death and sentenced to 6 years’ imprisonment. Both were also convicted of cruelty to another child.
