Simone Fergus was sentenced on Friday 5th October at Wood Green Crown Court to five years’ imprisonment after pleading guilty to the manslaughter of her partner, Raul Chiriac, on Monday 1st October.
The court had heard that the police had been called to the house that Ms Fergus and Mr Chiriac shared, where they found Mr Chiriac suffering from a single stab wound. He was taken to hospital by the London Ambulance Service, but died later that evening.
