R v Zolotovsky (2012)

Zoe Johnson QC prosecuted Latvian-born Sergei Zolotovsky who faced two charges of murder for stabbing his wife and mother in law.

Latvian-born Sergei Zolotovsky who faced two charges of murder for stabbing his wife and mother in law has been found guilty.  It is believed that he was paranoid and had convinced himself that his wife was having an affair.  Mr Zolotovsky faced the charges from his hospital bed because he tried to kill himself whilst on remand and is paralysed.  He did not put forward a defence to either murder.
