Zoe Johnson KC secures convictions against Anthony Stocks in relation to six sexual allegations against a girl under the age of 13 and the attempted murder of a young boy.
On 24 September 2022, the offender took the boy to Ovingdean cliffs in Brighton, enticed him to the edge of the cliff and pushed him off. The boy fell 100 feet but miraculously he did not die. The defence case was that the boy slipped and was not pushed. There were no witnesses to the push as the boy had no memory of what happened as a result of his injuries. Sentence is adjourned to 26 July.
