Nick Corsellis represented a man who was alleged to be the UK distribution end of an international conspiracy to import cocaine in industrial commodities.
The defendant was acquitted at the end of the prosecution case after a successful legal submission that although the evidence demonstrated a keen willingness to commit the crime, it fell short of an actual agreement to carry it out and thus could not be a conspiracy. The trial had lasted for 4 weeks.
