Kerry Broome was junior defence counsel for an Immigration Officer who was charged with facilitating unlawful immigration and misconduct in public office.
It was alleged that the Defendant had facilitated the grant of fraudulent indefinite leave to remain to over 40 individuals. The Crown offered no evidence on the first day of trial.
