Nadesh secured the acquittal of H who was alleged to have committed affray and threatened another individual with a knife.
The Crown’s case was that the Defendant had gone on to use the knife, stabbing another individual in the back. The Defendant accepted that he was at the scene and his co-defendant pleaded guilty to affray and possession of an offensive weapon.
At the close of the prosecution case the Crown were forced to abandon the charge of affray against H and ultimately the Defendant was unanimously acquitted of threatening with a bladed article by a jury.
