Instructed by the General Dental Council in a substantive hearing before a Professional Conduct Committee.
The registrant dental nurse had been convicted at the Central Criminal Court of misconduct in pubic office for selling stories to The Sun newspaper about a famous singer who had been held at HMP Highpoint while she was serving as a prison officer there. The facts were found proved and the panel determined that the registrants' fitness to practice was impaired by reason of her conviction. The panel suspended the registrant for six months.
