Paul Wakerley represented the GMC in the hearing of allegations of misconduct against Dr Brito-Babapulle before the Medical Practitioner Tribunal Service.
The doctor, a consultant haematologist, was alleged to have put four patients at risk through inappropriate treatment. She was found guilty of misconduct and suspended from practice for nine months.
