Selva Ramasamy QC represented a doctor who practised in ‘functional medicine’. The doctor specialised in treating patients, who had been failed by conventional medicine, by using a combination of therapies. Specifically, advanced hormone therapy and genetic analysis which were criticised by the GMC in an inquiry which involved six experts.
