Polly Dyer appears in Seychelles legal first

Polly Dyer appeared before the Supreme Court of the Seychelles in respect of an application to discharge the court’s first ever worldwide restraint order. 

The Order was imposed in the course of the Seychelles Anti-Corruption Commission’s prosecution of a former economic advisor to the Government. The case has also involved the first use of digital forensic evidence in the jurisdiction and evidence obtained through mutual legal assistance.

Polly has been admitted to the Bar of the Seychelles, and has been advising the Anti-Corruption Commission in respect of the proceedings for 12 months. She has appeared in the Seychelles Supreme Court, Constitutional Court and Court of Appeal.

Polly has particular experience in matters of bribery and corruption and money laundering, both domestic and international, in the private as well as public sectors.  She frequently advises corporates as well as government departments in the UK and offshore.
