Following a week long inquest at Winchester Coroner's Court, the inquest into the tragic death of the former Jeremy Kyle show guest, Steven Dymond, concluded on Tuesday 10 September. His Majesty's Coroner returned a conclusion of suicide.
Polly Dyer, appearing alone at the inquest, represented Mr Dymond's GP, one of four interested persons in the proceedings. Amongst others, she cross-examined Jeremy Kyle and employees of ITV.
Mr Dymond had provided a letter from his GP to ITV upon applying to be on the programme. The Coroner found that neither the letter nor Mr Dymond's GP had caused or contributed to Mr Dymond's death in any way.
