X’s case was that he was drunk, and should not have been allowed to increase his limit, and to gamble. Tom advised on a subject access request, and then scrutinised the casino’s handling of the case. Numerous regulatory failings were identified, and written representations led to the casino coming to a financial settlement with X. Tom was instructed on a direct access basis.
