The Inquest into the Death of Footballer Emiliano Sala Who Died in an Air Crash Starts. Charlotte Godber Junior Counsel for the Family.

The 28 year old Argentinian footballer was on a private plane travelling to Cardiff when it crashed in the English Channel in January 2019.  He was travelling as a result of a multimillion-pound transfer from FC Nantes in France to Cardiff City,  Emiliano Sala's body was recovered a month after the crash but the pilot's body has never been found. 

The inquest into Emiliano Sala's death starts today at Dorset Coroner's Court.  Charlotte Godber is junior counsel on behalf of the family, instructed by Daniel Machover of Hickman & Rose.
