Julian Evans is instructed to represent Greater Manchester Police in the Inquest proceedings which had been adjourned pending the outcome of an IPCC investigation and then a criminal trial.
Following representations from the Core Participants, the Inquest was converted into a Public Inquiry in 2016. Core Participants included Greater Manchester Police and the National Crime Agency. The oral evidence and submissions (heard in open and closed hearings) took over 4 months.
