Acting for an employee of a Celotex, a Core Participant in the Grenfell Tower Inquiry. Celotex manufactured the insulation which has been linked to the spread of the fire. Serious allegations of mis-selling/misleading marketing have been made – at the Inquiry, Celotex has been accused of perpetrating a “fraud on the market”. Selva’s client had inherited the role of product manager for the insulation used at Grenfell. Selva’s role has been to assist the client with all aspects of preparation for and involvement in the Inquiry, and in relation to a linked inquiry by the police – Selva’s involvement will continue through 2023.
