Mr Roger Allanson was found to have dishonestly produced marketing material for a litigation funding scheme which raised over £19 million from members of the public. He was struck off. During the first instance hearing Mr Allanson launched a complex abuse of process argument, which he repeated on appeal before Mr Justice Freedman. Natasha was instructed by the SRA at first instance and on appeal in the High Court and was successful in both cases. The case was factually complex and made legally complex by the litigant in person. The 24 page High Court judgment is at [2021] EWHC 3178 (Admin).
Natasha was instructed by Ian Brook of Capsticks Solicitors, instructed by the Solicitors Regulation Authority.
