Selva represented a consultant ENT/head and neck surgeon who was initially reported to the GMC by his employer for alleged failures in the care and treatment of a patient who lost the sight in one eye following an operation. The employer then raised a range of alleged failures in over 20 additional patient cases. The GMC investigation spanned a two year period. It concluded with no adverse findings and no action being taken against the surgeon.
